Senior React Engineer

Our client a consultancy based in Galway is currently looking for a Senior React Engineer to join their team for an upcoming project working with a financial institution. The initial contract is set to be 6 months, but there is a strong expectation for multiple extensions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver scalable, maintainable frontend solutions, ensuring performance and reliability.
• Collaborate across teams to design and implement user-focused features.
• Develop micro-frontends and enhance developer experience.
• Ensure robust testing strategies and maintain clean, reusable code.
• Act as a Senior member of the team, mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in frontend development.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years in frontend development, with expertise in React, TypeScript, CSS, and CRP.
• Proficiency in micro-frontends and CSR.
• Strong understanding of testing strategies, including the testing pyramid.
• Strong importance placed on being an effective communicator.
